Rehab girl Lindsay Lohan wants to star in a biopic of controversial late silent movie star Clara Bow. Hellraisier Bow, who died in 1965, was regarded by many as America’s first sex symbol, but suffered several bouts of severe mental illness. And Lohan, who posed as Bow for a magazine photo shoot in 2006, claims she would be perfect for the role because she can relate to the 1920s starlet. She says, "I definitely relate to a lot of the things that she went through. Not with her family, but the trials and tribulations of Hollywood, to an extent." Lohan recently posed ala Marilyn Monroe for a New York Magazine cover story which many say has helped her career get back on track.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER ACTION HERO

The Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger once again is proving he is a action hero by rescuing a child who collapsed during one of his political speeches.Theo Scott-Femenella fainted while Schwarzenegger was speaking at his Sacramento high school yesterday. The star quickly leaped from the stage and swept him back to his feet.The 12-year-old later said, "All of a sudden, I wake up and see Governor Schwarzenegger helping me up from the ground. I’m sure one side of me was thinking, ‘Cool, the governor’s helping me up.’ But wait, ‘I fainted in front of the Governor. Oh, no.’"

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has developed another addiction. This time to the British breakfast cereal Sugar Puffs. The Black Sabbath singer is reported to have been so upset by the lack of the glazed wheat cereal in the U.S, he requested the foodstuff be sent to him across the Atlantic.A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "One of the team at Honey Monster Foods (Sugar Puffs' parent company) received an e-mail from Ozzy Osbourne's people in L.A. asking them to ship over some boxes of Sugar Puffs. "They said it was his favorite breakfast cereal and he was wound up because he couldn't find any over there." A spokesperson for Honey Monster Foods says, "The wild man of rock is used to other cravings but has, in his old age, moved onto softer, safer stuff."

SHIA LABEOUF REGRETS CHICAGO ARREST

Hollywood star Shia LaBeouf really regrets his 2007 arrest for trespassing in a Chicago drugstore, insisting the incident occurred in a moment of "utter insanity." The Transformers star, 21, was charged with a public misdemeanor in November, after refusing to leave a Walgreen's while drunk. The charges were later dropped. But LaBeouf admits the bizarre event was an isolated incident, which he is putting behind him as a life lesson. He tells the British magazine Empire, "That was complete and utter insanity. I was an [bleep], and it was a mistake I'm still completely embarrassed about. "I was in the middle of a strange mind state, having just come off a three-month window of focus. I can't diminish what happened at all. But I can say this: I'm not the first 21-year-old to be arrested for a misdemeanor. There are lessons in life I need to learn, and I'm learning all of them in front of the public."

JENNY MCCARTHY RULES OUT MARRIAGE

Troubled singer Michael Jackson wants to stop the auction of his old Neverland Ranch home by taking out a loan to cover the money he owes to the estate's trustees. Bosses at Financial Title Company have announced they will sell the fabled California property at auction on March 19 unless the pop star comes up with the $24.5 million they claim he owes them.The weird singer vowed never to return to the mansion where he once housed a zoo and theme park, after detectives ransacked the property for evidence to use against Jackson in his 2004 child molestation trial. But he doesn't want his former home and fixtures and fittings to go under the hammer. A Jackson family insider insists the singer will avoid foreclosure on Neverland with a new loan, adding the auction "won't happen." The source tells CNN, "The financing is all being worked out. There are plenty of lenders willing to work with him."

Today the New York Post's Page Six ran an interesting story on Blogger Perez Hilton and wannabee Blogger Jonathan Jaxson who also claims to have been a publicist. Below is the Page Six story and at the end I will have some comments.

MARIO Lavandeira - better known as online gossip "Perez Hilton" - encouraged a handsome young blogger to send sex tapes of himself while he was making promises of promotion for the blogger's own fledgling Web site. Jonathan Jaxson - a former publicist and founder of gossip site JJ's Dirt - told Page Six he sent Lavandeira sexually explicit videos of himself with the hope of Lavandeira's help, which never materialized. "He would tell me he would give me stories for my blog," Jaxson, 24, said of Lavandeira, 29. "He used me." We've obtained pages of lengthy AOL Instant-Messenger chats between Jaxson and "Perez Hilton," who has risen to fame with his Web site, where he doodles on photos of celebrities accompanied by scathing insults. The New York Times ran a gushing puff piece on "Perez" Tuesday, reporting he gets 2.8 million visitors a month and is in talks with Warner Music for his own label because he has such a great ear for new music. In an exchange from Sept. 1, 2007, Lavandeira told Jaxson, "you should totally make a sex tape . . . (but not with me)." Jaxson wrote back, "I will have to make one on here for you tomorrow and e-mail it to you." Lavandeira responded, "Hot! Do it now!" The next afternoon, Lavandeira asked Jaxson, "When are you sending me that video you promised?" Jaxson responded, "If you do a phone blog with me for my blog . . . as if I am cold calling you in attempt to get advice for my blog. You can be totally rude. I don't want others to know we talk." The next day, Lavandeira asked again, "Where is that video?" Jaxson told Page Six he sent Lavandeira videos of himself masturbating and other forms of "sex videos," but said he only met Lavandeira in person three times - once in Florida and twice in New York. "I fell in love with Perez. I thought he had a huge heart . . . but he's just a [bleep]hole," Jaxson told us. "We started working together and communicating on how to make my blog bigger. Then it got more personal and intimate." Lavendeira had no comment.

Editors Note: I first heard of Jonathan Jaxson a while back where he claimed he was a publicist. He garnered headlines when he said Lindsay Lohan was a lesbian and having a affair with some female DJ. I remember reading his blog and he said he got all his information from the horses mouth. After reading his blog and seeing he was quoting sources, I wrote something to the effect that it seemed like he was getting all his information more from sources than the horses. I also remember reading his blog a few weeks ago and he said he met Perez at Fashion Week and he was a snob, or something to that effect. Also said something like that he guessed all the fame had gotten to Perez. Those are not exact quotes, but I think that's the gist of what he posted. Now he tells Page Six that he sent naked movies of himself to Perez and was in love with Perez. Who in their right mind would send naked videos to a gossip blogger ? Is Jaxson off the wall or what, or is it just me? I have some advice for Jonathan Jaxson. If you want to get anywhere in this business, you have to work. I worked over 20 years photographing celebrities and now I work day and night on three blogs. Perez is successful because he lives his blog day and night. He eats this business for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now that Perez is successful, everyone wants a piece of him. You sent him naked videos because you wanted something out of him. If you were any good in this business, you would know by now 80 percent of the people are just takers and not givers. (though if it means anything, Perez is a top...lol ) I just read your blog and it says you are giving it up on March 1st because of everything that has happened. Well, that's the easy way out. I guess that's what you wanted, everything easy. Send a naked video to Perez and he will make you famous. Things don't go your way, and you quit. You need to do some very long and hard thinking Mr. Jaxson. No one owes you anything. It takes work to get to the top. It takes more than spreading your legs for some gossip blogger with the hope that he will make you famous too. My blog may not do the numbers that Perez does, but I do better numbers than most of the blogs that have been out there for years, and Times Square Gossip is only a year and a half old, and is featured on TV and Radio on a regular basis. I work day and night to bring my readers a daily Star Magazine each and every day. There is no excuse for blaming Perez Hilton for anything. If you want fame, get out there and work for it. I'm not trying to be mean. We work for what we have and we work very hard. Try doing the same and maybe you will get somewhere. This business is cutthroat. Remember that and you will go far..

BOY GEORGE DENIES ESCORT CHARGES

Culture Club singer Boy George has pleaded not guilty to charges of false imprisonment following accusations from a male escort.The singer, real name George O’Dowd, is accused of chaining Norwegian man Audun Carlsen to a wall at his home in Hackney, East London. The pop singer also faces assault charges relating to the alleged incident that happened last April. But at a court appearance in London today, O’Dowd denied the allegations.He has been released on bail and his trial is set to take place at Snaresbrook Crown Court in November.

Former View Television host Rosie O'Donnell wants to return to TV with a new sitcom starring her friend Fran Drescher. The controversial star is determined to stage a comeback to the small screen after she quit The View in May of last year. O’Donnell had been lined up to front her own chat show for cable network MSNBC, but the deal fell through. And now the star is planning on creating a new entertainment program with her good friend Drescher in the lead role.In a video post on O’Donnell’s website, she says, "Now, Fran and I have a new sitcom, but we can’t talk about it, right?" Drescher adds, "We’re going to do a new, fun, happy, family comedy." The project is reported to be in its early stages with O’Donnell’s spokeswoman insisting that it’s "way too premature" to discuss.

HUGH HEFNER EYES NAKED LINDSAY LOHAN

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner wants former party girl Lindsay Lohan to go naked for him magazine.The magazine founder was reportedly impressed with the saucy naked snaps of Lohan that currently appear in New York magazine, in a tribute to Marilyn Monroe’s last photo shoot, and he wants her to pose as the legendary actress in his publication.This time Lohan will be asked to re-create Monroe’s famous nude swimming scene from movie Something’s Got To Give, reports the New York Post. But it seems unlikely the 21-year-old’s parents would be so understanding about her stripping for Hefner. After her New York magazine shoot, Lohan’s mother Dina said, "It was very tastefully done. I don’t look at them like it’s Playboy; she was being a character. If you look at it that way, you can look at it as a mother."

FEDS LOOK AT HEATH LEDGER'S DOCTORS

Two of Hollywood star Heath Ledger's doctors are under investigation by authorities, to determine whether the prescription drugs that killed him were given to him illegally.Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment last month at just age 28, after overdosing on powerful painkillers, anti-anxiety pills and sleeping pills, all of which had been prescribed to him. A federal investigation into his un-timely death is being centered on a doctor in California and another in Texas, who are believed to have supplied the Oscar-nominee with pain pills Oxycontin and Vicodin.There has been no suggestion the doctors acted improperly, but officials hope to clear up any suggestion of illegal activity.A source tells the New York Daily News, "It’s an ongoing investigation. It’s not clear if there is any wrongdoing."

NO INVESTIGATION FOR BRITNEY SPEARS

Los Angeles California police are denying a formal investigation is underway into claims toxic singer Britney Spears was drugged by her now estranged manager Sam Lutfi. Her former friend Lutfi was served a restraining order earlier this month and was instructed to keep his distance from the Spears family after Britney’s mother Lynne claimed he had admitted drugging her daughter. And now Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has confirmed that "issues" regarding the singer are being looked into but insisted there is currently no official investigation underway and no formal suspects, according to TMZ.com. Captain Kyle Jackson of LAPD’s Robbery Homicide division issued the following statement: "The issues regarding Britney Spears are being considered by the department to determine if laws have been violated."Particular suspects have not yet been fully identified nor has a formal investigation into open charges officially commenced. At this time we don’t know whether or not a formal investigation will be initiated."

Hollywood actress Jennifer Jason Leigh has reportedly pulled out of her latest movie because she is pregnant. Page Six claims studio bosses were overheard at the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday discussing the actress' departure from the romantic comedy "Spread" and her reasons for leaving the cast. A representative for Leigh has refused to confirm or deny the reports, telling Page Six, "We don't comment on our clients' personal lives." Page Six reports Laura Linney is scheduled to replace her in the film, which also stars Ashton Kutcher.

AMY WINEHOUSE DELAYS COURT HEARING

Troubled star Amy Winehouse's appeal to postpone her Norwegian court hearing on Friday for drug possession charges has been granted by the court. The "Rehab" star and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil were arrested in Bergen, Norway, last year on suspicion of possessing marijuana. The 24-year-old was issued with a $714 fine, which she accepted, not realizing that paying up is the same as pleading guilty in the Scandinavian country.Winehouse appealed the fine in November and was due in court for a scheduled hearing on Friday. But her lawyer Ole Kvelstad appealed to a district court in a bid to have the hearing pushed back because of the absence of her spouse, who is currently incarcerated in London's Pentonville Prison on charges of perverting the course of justice in relation to earlier charges of grievous bodily harm. Kvelstad tells People.com, The (Norway) court says that all parties must appear in person before the court, and the British police haven't made arrangements for one party to appear."

But Dannielynn’s father Larry Birkhead insisted she inherited the condition from the late former Playboy model’s father, and has now been successfully treated. Birkhead says, "Dannielynn is home from surgery and resting comfortably."

BOBBY BROWN GETS COMMUNITY SERVICE

Whitney Houston's estranged husband Bobby Brown is avoiding jail time for his December arrest for drug possession and he’s agreed to a year of community service instead. Brown was taken into custody by Massachusetts police following an incident in a Brockton Holiday Inn hotel, where he was found to be in possession of cocaine. Prosecutors wanted to press charges of possession of cocaine against Brown, but a Brockton District Court clerk magistrate ruled on Tuesday that there was no probable cause for a criminal complaint.The judge recommended volunteer work for Brown as a mentor to young people, to which the star’s attorney agreed.The singer and sometimes reality show star will also have the incident wiped from his records if he stays out of trouble for the next year.

LAWYER LOSES BRITNEY SPEARS BATTLE

A attorney who claimed to represent toxic star Britney Spears is not representing her and has no authority to act on her behalf, a judge has ruled. Earlier this month, Jon Earley, who has practices in New York and Washington, D.C. filed a federal complaint arguing the conservatorship of the singer’s estate violates her civil rights. But Judge Philip Gutierrez ruled on yesterday the attorney "acted improperly" in attempting to move the ongoing case from Los Angeles Superior Court to a federal court. Gutierrez also denied a request from Jamie Spears, Britney’s father, and his lawyer to recover legal costs to defend against the move. The case is reported to have cost Spears around $40,000. Earlier this month puzzled lawyers acting on behalf of Spears’ estate claimed the pop superstar couldn’t have hired Eardley to represent her because she’s unable to do so under the terms of the conservatorship. Spears’ father Jamie was recently appointed conservator of his daughter’s estate in a state court and he has temporary control over the Toxic singer’s legal and financial affairs until March 10th.

Music icon Simon Cowell has spent an incredible $80 million on a lavish new mansion in London.The American Idol judge purchased the house from an innovative property developer - who is in the process of giving the period terrace an underground extension which will include a swimming pool, a mini spa with a Jacuzzi and treatment room, and a parking garage for six vehicles.Work on the classy property, located in the British capital’s exclusive Holland Park area, is expected to be completed at the end of the year.

JOHN MELLENCAMP AND STEPHEN KING JOIN

Rock icon John Mellencamp has joined up with horror writer Stephen King to create a new Broadway musical.The author, famed for his chilling tales, has written the script for Ghost Brothers Of Darkland County with Mellencamp writing the soundtrack.The Broadway show is described as "a sultry Southern Gothic mystery with a blues-tinged, guitar-driven score" and focuses on the story of the death of two brothers and a young girl and the legend that grows out of the tragedy. It will open at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre in April 2009 with the hopes of it heading to the Great White Way.

Jennifer Lopez has taker her newborn twins home from hospital. Lopez gave birth to a boy and a girl at Long Island, New York’s North Shore University Hospital on Friday. But the new mom is now back at her New York home after Lopez’s doctor Dr Anita Sadaty discharged the singer and the unnamed tots early this morning. The Singing star is taking time out of her acting and singing careers this year to look after her children and she’s not scheduled to be back at work until Love And Other Possible Pursuits begins shooting at the end of this year.

DAVID HASSELHOFF ALLOWED TO GO HOME

Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has been given the ok to return to his familys mansion to retrieve his belongings including an African pipe, an ivory tusk and a "French maid". In a court hearing on today, a judge ruled Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach must allow the former Television star into their Encino, California home to remove some of his personal items including a green elephant and a "boy with horn" located in the family’s African room. Hasselhoff, who is currently embroiled in bitter divorce dealings with Bach, will be also allowed to remove his weights, a piano, recording equipment, Ted Williams memorabilia and an antique barber’s chair, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.com.

JERRY SEINFELD WANTS LAWSUIT DROPPED

Television star Jerry Seinfeld insists he was "just joking" when he called chef Missy Chase Lapine a "wacko" for launching a plagiarism lawsuit against him and his wife. Lapine is suing the New York couple, claiming Seinfeld’s wife Jessica’s best selling cookbook Deceptively Delicious "brazenly plagiarised" her own book she wrote called 'The Sneaky Chef'. Both books describe how to hide healthy ingredients in children’s foods. And after hearing of the legal action, Seinfeld appeared on late night Television show 'The Late Show' and made jokes about the "vegetable plagiarism" facing the couple. But Seinfeld has now apologized for his comments and appealed to a judge to dismiss the lawsuit, according to the New York Daily News. In papers filed at a court in New York City, lawyers for the couple state: "Jerry Seinfeld made overstatements of opinion for comic effect."This action gives new meaning to the terms objectionably unreasonable and publicity stunt." The statement also insists there is nothing "unique and innovative" about the ideas in Lapine’s book.

Rock Icon Elton John spoke to Television talk show host Larry King about his fears that his drink and drug addictions would have killed him if he wasn’t so focused on his singing career.Elton struggled with alcohol, cocaine and eating disorders throughout his early life, which ended in a stay in rehab in 1990 after the singer vowed to turn his life around.The 60-year-old has managed to stay clean ever since but is convinced if he hadn’t been able to continue with his music, he would have ended up dead. He tells Larry King, "I wasn’t particularly drunk on stage, but I did take drugs before I went on stage. And I was able to perform. In fact, ironically, I think the fact that I did keep performing and not stay home and shut myself away and do drugs all the time - it wasn’t a constant thing with me. But when I’d stop, when I started again, it became worse."So I think the fact that I did make records and did tour saved my life, because even though I went on stage under the influence of drugs sometimes, at least I wasn’t doing the amount of drugs I would have been doing if I’d have been staying at home."
