Heath Ledger's girlfriend spoke out today for the first time since the hollywood star's death, telling the world she is "heartbroken".Williams, the mother of Ledger’s baby daughter Matilda, broke her silence with a brief statement appealing to the media to give Ledger’s friends and family the space and privacy to grieve in peace.The couple were together for three years before breaking up last September.The short statement from actress Williams reads, "My heart is broken. Please respect our need to grieve privately." Ledger was found dead in his New York City apartment last week at the age of 28. An autopsy has failed to reveal the cause of death, and police are still awaiting the results of a toxicology test to determine if drugs found in his apartment played a part in his death. His body has been flown to his homeland Australia, where a private funeral is expected to take place in his hometown of Perth.

Michelle Pfeiffer is crediting her intercontinental heritage for her multi-faceted personality, dubbing herself a "racial mutt".The 49-year-old was born and raised in Orange County, California, but say's her ancestors originated from all over the world. She says, "Racially, I’m a mutt. My father was Dutch, Irish and German, and my mother is Swiss and Swede, so many things I can’t keep track. "I have a real Irish temper. I’m very organized like the Germans, and I also have the thing that people say Swedes have, of looking like they’re keeping a secret. Have you ever heard of that? I’ve been accused of it."

Hollywood star Heath Ledger's publicist is speaking out against rumors of the late actor's alleged drug use, branding the claims "heinous lies." Mara Buxbaum, who worked for the star before his sudden death, insists the "Brokeback Mountain" actor was never addicted to hard drugs and is outraged at the media speculation surrounding the 28-year-old's horrible death. Video footage of Ledger partying with two strangers at a Hollywood drugs party was aired in the U.S. on Wednesday, and although the scenes don't show the late star indulging in any illegal activities, the TV shows involved have decided against broadcasting any more of the tape out of respect for Ledger's family. Hollywood star Katie Holmes has dismissed a tabloid's claim she secretly became pregnant with ex-fiance Chris Klein's child. The actress, who is now married to Tom Cruise, dated the Klein for five years, but broke-up from the actor in 2005. Weeks after their break-up, Holmes began dating Cruise and the couple welcomed baby daughter Suri in April 2006, before marrying in Rome, Italy, in November that year. Wild party girl Amy Winehouse has been admitted to a hospital after suffering "dangerous levels" of dehydration following her battle to kick her drug habit.The Rehab singer has been seeking treatment at a rehabilitation center for a week, but was admitted to the private London Clinic on late Wednesday under a false name. A source tells London newspaper the Sun, "Amy was looking very pale and thin. "She looked ropey and exhausted. Let’s hope she hasn’t taken a turn for the worse."
