CULTURE CLUB AT NEW YORK CITY BEACON THEATRE

Image
**** Chuffed About The Boy
Story By: G. H. HARDING ****

With visions of London’s King’s Road circa 1985 in my mind, I witnessed Culture Club’s return to NYC Monday night at The Beacon Theatre and despite some rough patches, really enjoyed it. Formed in 1981, the band comprised Boy George (lead vocals),Mikey Craig (bass guitar), Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards) and Jon Moss (drums and percussion). Their second album, Colour by Numbers, sold more than 10 million copies worldwide and has been certified triple platinum in the UK and quadruple platinum in the US. It was ranked No. 96 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 Best Albums of the 1980s and is also included in the book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

The band enjoyed a goldmine of hits, including the songs "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me", "Time (Clock of the Heart)", "I'll Tumble 4 Ya", "Church of the Poison Mind", "Karma Chameleon", "Miss Me Blind", &…

CAITLYN JENNER'S MOM SPEAKS OUT ON SEX CHANGE

I AM CAIT

In a bonus clip from last night's premiere of I Am Cait, the 65-year-old sits down with her mother and two sisters for a therapy session with a gender counselor. The therapy session leads to some amazing revelations between Cait and her family.

"At some point our society, our culture, decided to be a binary society, which means you've got boys and you've got girls," counselor Susan P. Landon says. "That gets determined when children are born. The cluster of flesh, if you will, between your legs is what determines your gender. It doesn't. It determines your anatomical sex, but it does not determine your gender, OK? When I see children who are sort of taking information in from the time that they're born, and at 3-years-old or 5-years-old they say, ‘You know what? I'm not who you told me I am,' that comes from an experience they feel inside."

"Susan, none of us can remember anything about you as a young boy displaying any ki…

IN DEPTH LOOK @ MIRANDA LAMBERT & BLAKE SHELTON

Image
E!’s Chief News Correspondent, Melanie Bromley, took an in-depth look at Miranda Lambert and Black Shelton’s “fairytale” relationship to see how it started, where the break-downs began and what really caused this pair’s storybook romance to fall apart.

On Miranda’s tearful performance over the weekend:

- Weeks of keeping her broken marriage a secret had finally caught up with her. Miranda knew she would soon be releasing a statement and the world would realize her fairytale romance with Blake Shelton was over.

On the couple not being able to escape their past:

- Here was a man who made a living out of writing songs about loving a drink and liking pretty girls. It gave people the wrong idea, and encouraged some of the tales about his life away from Miranda...And in some ways Miranda encouraged the gossip.

On the couple’s …
