  The Couture Council Young Patrons The Couture Council Young Patrons (CCYP) of The Museum at FIT (MFIT) took part in the opening night party of the Food & Fashion exhibition, an exhibition that explores the impact of food and food culture on fashion design. More than 80 participants persevered through thunderstorms to raise more than $200,000 in support of SWCRF cancer research initiatives such as the Institute Without WallsTM, the International Network for Aging and Cancer Research, and the SWCRF Women’s Cancer Research Program. Together, these programs are funding more than 60 scientists across the United States and around the world.  Over the last 20 years, scientific advancements have led to a decrease in cancer mortality by nearly 30 percent. However, despite significant progress in prevention, cancer incidence is increasing worldwide.   Elton Ilirjani Elton Ilirjani, international model, activist and philanthropist took to the runway during New York Fashion Week 2023 to model for Chris Mena and his “From the Street” – his 3rd collection has been five years in the making.  Elton and other models walked the unique runway which first exited the building’s interior and descend the ramp towards the courtyard, offering the audience below a semi-obstructed preview of Elton, before he turned and continue their descent away from the crowd into a visually-obstructed corner.   Adam Lambert The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) 23rd Annual Gala in the Hamptons took place at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY. The summer benefit supported the Annual PCF Pro-Am Tennis Tournament and celebrated the millions raised and achievements made in the past 30 years through PCF.
