  Jean Shafiroff   Aisha Christian The Southampton African American Museum (SAAM) held a summer party chaired by New York philanthropist, author, and TV host Jean Shafiroff, and her husband, Martin Shafiroff, along with Aisha Christian & Michael Steifman at the restaurant Blu Mar in Southampton, NY with a post-reception dinner at the restaurant 75 Main. The event was the official launch of the museum’s Founder’s Campaign to support its operations and endowment. The museum, a former Black barber shop opened on June 19, 2021, and is the first African American designated landmark in the Village of Southampton. KENNETH AND BRADLEY FISHEL CREATE SOHO LOFTS IN MIDTOWN NYC

  Roof Deck @ 62 West 45th In 2019 the father-son team of Kenneth and Bradley Fishel purchased the 12-story early 20th Century building located at 62 West 45th Street which was almost entirely rented. Then the pandemic hit. Tenants started dropping like flies and the team realized that their newest acquisition was in trouble. So, the family sprang into action with a plan to re-tenant the building. The building is located in the middle of Manhattan, a short walk to Grand Central Terminal, the Port Authority Bus Terminal and Penn Station. Location was not the problem, rather, the market had dropped significantly, and vacancies abounded around them. The team needed to make their building distinctive among many similar buildings in the area. Thus, the concept of “SoHo Lofts in Midtown” was born.    Each floor was consolidated into a single-tenant 4,650 square foot space.  The team reasoned that renters would value privacy as an important attribute in their evaluation of space.   Elizabeth Shafiroff The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation (SASF) proudly presented SO FETCH, a beach party fundraiser. Hosted by Georgina Bloomberg, Katie McEntee, Kingsley Crawford, Nathania Nisonson, Elizabeth Shafiroff, Merritt Piro, Elizabeth Bowden, and Olivia Mulvey. The girls called all party animals to attend their first annual beach party where 100% of the proceeds went directly to the shelter’s rescue program. Guests arrived at the Gin Lane beach located to the left of the historic Bathing Corporation. Dogs with shelter volunteers greeting party goers and enjoyed a night at the beach and out of their kennels.
