NACHO FIGUERAS HOSTS EDMISTON YACHT CHARITY CHUKKA TO BENEFIT SOUTHAMPTON HOSPITAL

Edmiston Yachts and polo icon Nacho Figueras hosted the first annual Edmiston Charity Chukka, presented by luxury destination Amaala, at the Ashkenazy family estate in Water Mill. Supported by Feadship, NetJets, Hublot, de Grisogono, Overfinch, Berkeley Travel, Zang Toi, and other venerable partners, the event benefited Stonybrook Southampton Hospital.

American singer-songwriter Alexa Ray Joel performed at Northwell Health’s first Summer Hamptons Evening (SHE) benefitting Northwell’s Katz Institute for Women’s Health. The event was held in Water Mill, NY at the residence of Victoria Moran-Furman, who hosted alongside presenting sponsors Iris and Saul Katz, the benefactors of the Katz Institute for Women’s Health, and celebrity event planner Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events.
More than 300 supporters attended, donating $575,000 to help Northwell pioneer solutions that address women’s specific health needs through individualized, integrated care at locations across the metropolitan area — from Manhattan to Montauk. LOS ANGELES — Starstruck, a brand new six-part comedy written, created by and starring 2018 Edinburgh Comedy Award winner Rose Matafeo has been commissioned by BBC Three and HBO Max and is an Avalon Television production.
Starstruck will follow twenty-something Rose (Rose Matafeo), a millennial in London, juggling two dead-end jobs and navigating the awkward morning-after when she discovers the complications of accidentally sleeping with a movie star. As well as being broadcast on BBC Three in the UK, HBO Max will be the streaming partner for the series in the US.

Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff and her husband Martin Shafiroff were honored at the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s 61st Annual Summer Party under air-conditioned tents in the fields at Wickapogue Road and Old Town Road, Southampton. The Shafiroffs are longtime supporters of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, with Jean being on the Southampton Hospital Association Board. Jean chaired the Southampton Hospital Summer Party's in 2010, 2011 and 2013 when a total of $5.4million was raised for the Hospital. The event was an evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing to benefit the Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department. Larry Scott of Lawrence Scott Events provided the ambiance and gourmet offerings, with music by Groove Society.
