MADONNA TO GIVE PAYOUT TO EX. HUSBAND

Pop singer Madonna has reportedly reached a $44.8 million divorce settlement with director ex-husband Guy Richie, so he can buy homes in London and New York to be close to their three kids. The former happy couple announced their breakup in October, and the ‘quickie’ divorce was settled last month with details of the agreement kept very secret. But now a British tabloid reports that although Ritchie, 40, signed away any claim on Madonna’s $438 million fortune, he will be given $17.5 million cash to help him buy property after Madonna insisted on keeping their marital home in Marylebone, London. Ritchie will also allegedly keep couple’s country estate in Wiltshire, England, worth $29.2 million, as well as his pub - the Punchbowl in London’s Mayfair - which is worth $4.4. The cash will help him buy property in London and New York City so he can be close to their kids - Lourdes, 12, Rocco, seven, and adopted son David Banda, three when they are with Madonna. A friend of Ritchie’s tells Britain’s News of the World, "He never wanted any cash handouts. He agreed with Madonna’s demands to keep the peace."
