MADONNA AND FAMILY ATTEND KABBALAH

Guy Richie and singing star Madonna have attempted to quash rumors that their marriage is in serious trouble, by stepping out in New York City with their children to attend Kabbalah services. The famous couple has been under intense media scrutiny amid rumors they are on the verge of a divorce. But the pair - accompanied by children Lourdes, 11; Rocco, seven; and David, two - put on a show of unity after arriving together at the Kabbalah Centre in New York City yesterday. During the ceremony, the singer sat with the kids on the women’s side of the aisle, apart from her filmmaker husband, a custom in the religion’s worship tradition. Earlier this week, Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg issued a statement denying the pair is filing for a legal separation.

MADONNA IS VERY HAPPY WITH GUY RICHIE

Pop singer Madonna is dismissing reports that she is going to divorce hubby Guy Richie. The couple has been under intense media scrutiny amid rumors they are allegedly on the verge of a very permanent split. Madonna fuelled the speculation by appearing in public in New York City without her wedding ring earlier this week. But gossips were left guessing again when filmmaker Ritchie flew to New York yesterday to be with his wife. And now the singing icon's publicist Liz Rosenberg is setting the record straight and is insisting the pair are not divorcing. She tells People.com, "Madonna’s husband Guy arrived in New York last night to be with his wife and family (not in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage which does not need saving). There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce." Rosenberg also dismissed reports Madonna is having a secret fling with New York Yankees baseball hero Alex Rodriguez. She adds, "Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that." Rosenberg suggests the recent flurry of rumors about the star’s private life isn’t something new. She added: "It’s nothing new that people are airing tons of dirty laundry Madonna’s way lately - much of it untrue."

HUGE RUMORS ABOUT MADONNAS DIVORCE

Rumors about a alleged Madonna and Guy Ritchie breakup are refusing to go away. Access Hollywood is claiming the pop superstar is seeking legal advice from Paul McCartney's divorce lawyer. Madonna has met with Fiona Shackleton, the attorney who represented Paul McCartney during his court battle with Heather Mills, according to Access Hollywood. The singing icon reportedly approached Shackleton after initial talks with a rival law firm fell through. The latest divorce story comes just two weeks after a representative for Madonna called news that the singer had hired Mills' lawyer Nicholas Mostyn "completely untrue."
A rep tells Access Hollywood there will be "no comment at this time" concerning the new story, while a spokesperson for Shackleton says, "We have a policy of not speaking with the press." Guy Ritchie is reportedly being represented by Mayfair law firm Forsters.

GUY RICHIE AND MADONNA GOOD PARENTS

Director Guy Richie and pop singer Madonna have proved themselves to be very good parents, because adopted son David Banda has grown into an "excellent" child, according to official documents leaked to the media. The superstar couple brought the then-two-year-old Banda back to Britain from a Malawian orphanage in 2006, but caused controversy after it was claimed they had side-stepped the official adoption process. However, the Ritchie's appear to have won over Malawian authorities, with a new court report praising the couple’s parenting skills. The document states: "Mr and Mrs Ritchie have shown a strong commitment in providing the infant with all essential needs like love, safe home environment, care, protection, material as well as emotional support." The report, filed by ministry official Simon Chisale, goes on to say little David’s "bonded well with the couple and other key members of the household", and "continues to develop into a happy, thriving toddler. His survival, growth and development is excellent". The case is due to be reviewed at the Malawian High Court on May 15th, when a judge is expected to formally approve the permanent adoption of the lucky child. Madonna has already had the hearing postponed twice, because of her busy schedule for her new album Hard Candy.

MADONNA DID NOT BREAK UP WITH HUBBY

Superstar Madonna's publicist is hitting back at reports that the pop superstar’s marriage to husband Guy Richie is in trouble, insisting the couple is "joyfully" back together after separate promotional commitments kept them apart. The marriage came under intense media scrutiny last week when Ritchie failed to show up at New York’s Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony, where his wife was honored. This was the latest of several events the couple had failed to attend together, prompting scurrilous reports they’d split. But Madonna’s longtime publicist Liz Rosenberg has attempted to end the rumors and speculation by issuing a press statement. She says, "I am delighted to confirm that Mr. and Mrs. Guy Ritchie remain happily married."Though they were in different countries recently, Madonna in the U.S. doing promotion for her upcoming album Hard Candy and Guy finishing up post production on his new film RocknRolla, as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England, the family are joyfully back together at home in London."All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."

GUY RICHIE ON HIS MADONNA MARRIAGE

Guy Ritchie denies his marriage to Madonna was close to breaking point over their adoption of a two-year-old Malawian boy.The 39-year-old film director insists toddler David Banda - who Madonna controversially took out of Africa last October after she was granted an 18-month interim adoption order - has quickly settled into his new family and they couldn't be happier. He said: "He's part of the family now. We haven't talked about the adoption for ages - he's part of us."We don't talk about it. We haven't talked about it for the past six months."It was only in the first month when the adoption was going through - since then we've all been getting on with our lives and it hasn't been mentioned. That's par for the course. He's part of the family."Madonna, 49, was accused of using her celebrity status to fast track her adoption of David last year and the criticism was rumored to have put a strain on her relationship with Guy, who she married in December 2000.The couple - who also have a seven-year-old son, Rocco, together - are now just weeks away from being granted permanent custody of David. The 'Hung Up' singer - who has a 10-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from a previous relationship - is set to appear before Malawi's high court next month for a review of the temporary adoption order. It is expected the hearing - which was originally planned for next April - will make Madonna and husband Guy David's legal parents. The decision comes after the head of Malawi's Social Services, Simon Chisale, visited the couple to assess their suitability as parents.Chisale - who spent three days with Madonna, Guy and her two other children at the family's London mansion - praised Madonna for "looking like the perfect mom".

REPORT: MADONNA AND GUY RICHIE FIGHT

Superstar Madonna and hubby Guy Richie

Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie have reportedly had a furious showdown over her plans to adopt again. The couple, who have been married for seven years, have allegedly been rowing since Madonna flew to Malawi to meet with a three-year-old girl called Grace. Guy is said be uncomfortable with the idea of expanding his family, following the furor over their adoption of one-year-old Malawi boy David Banda last year. A friend told Britain's Grazia magazine: "Guy is very happy that they decided to adopt David but he believes that they have already attracted enough criticism."He wants them both to keep a low profile and continue focusing on David - who still needs time to adjust to his new life."Madonna - whose representatives deny she travelled to Malawi to adopt again - is said to be losing the battle with her husband. A friend of the couple said: "They've basically reached a stalemate, but in the end it looks like Madonna might back down."Madonna and Guy adopted David amid much controversy that their application had been fast-tracked because of their celebrity status.

MADONNA'S NEXT WITH CAR SEAT TROUBLE

Superstar Madonna has come under fire for failing to properly restrain her 17-month-old child in her vehicle. Much like the controversy surrounding pop star Britney Spears last year, Madonna's adopted son David is at the center of media attention after he was recently photographed not strapped into a car seat. The 48-year-old and husband Guy Ritchie loaded their three children into their Escalade SUV after March 2 services at the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles, but baby David was not properly restrained. A witness tells Us Weekly , "There was no car seat. (Madonna) sat in the middle row, and they left with David on her lap." The following day, Madonna allegedly defied the law once again by sitting in the middle of the vehicle with 6-year-old son Rocco not properly secured. A representative for the singer slams the claims, saying, "Proper security measures are always taken for Madonna's children."

MADONNA TURNS HEADS AS FLAPPER GIRL

Flapper Madonna With Hubby Guy Richie

Madonna turned heads when she turned up to a Kabbalah fancy dress party dressed as a 1920s flapper girl, escorted by a camp policeman. The 'Hung Up' singer's escort was in fact her director husband Guy Ritchie, who was wearing a tight police uniform complete with a 1970s-style moustache for the bash at the Los Angeles Kabbalah centre. The party was held to celebrate the Jewish festival of Purim, which commemorates the foiling of an ancient plot to annihilate the Jews of the Persian Empire. Madonna - who is a devout follower of Kabbalah, a mystical off shoot of Judaism - has caused outrage with her choice of outfit at the annual event in the past. In 2005, the 48-year-old singer and her husband upset Catholic groups by dressing up as a nun and a priest for a Purim celebration in London.William Donahue, president of the American Catholic League, insisted the couple should be beaten by a real life priest and nun for desecrating the scared attire. He fumed at the time: "They're trying to tweak Catholicism again by exploiting the Jewish holiday."She needs to be beaten with a ruler by a real-life nun and he needs to be paddled on his behind by a real-life priest."Madonna was raised a Catholic before she converted to Kabbalah later in life.

MADONNA SAVES HER WEDDING DRESS FOR DAUGHTER LOURDES

Madonna And Family
Madonna wants daughter Lourdes to wear her wedding dress when she gets married. The singer is keeping her ivory Stella McCartney designer gown for her 10-year-old daughter's special day, after Lourdes begged her mother to let her wear it. Madonna confessed to Elle magazine : "The only thing Lourdes has requested to have when she grows up is my wedding dress, to wear for her own wedding."While Madonna and Lourdes agree on wedding attire, they don't always agree on fashion. The 48-year-old pop superstar, famed for her outrageous stage outfits, admits she disapproves of her daughter's clothes choices. Madonna said: "My daughter is going through the phase of wearing jeans so tight she can't bend her knees in them. I have a go at her and say, 'Can't you wear something else? And can you please wear a belt because I don't want to see your butt crack when you bend over.' "
