Heath Ledger has been enjoying the single life since his split from Michelle Williams.The 'Brokeback Mountain' star - who last month confirmed he had separated from Michelle after three years together - attended the Another Magazine party at New York's Bowery Hotel with three Australian friends on Saturday. A source told the New York Post newspaper: "He was in a ridiculously happy mood and drank Ballatore champagne all night. He ordered it throughout the dinner."The actor and his friends partied hard with several beauties, including Chloe Sevigny and Helena Christensen. However, Heath, 28, has been making sure he spends plenty of quality time with his and Michelle's daughter, 23-month-old Matilda. Heath was seen enjoying a fun day out with Matilda at Manhattan's Children's Museum last week. A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "They were there for a few hours in the PlayWorks area and at the sand table. Heath is a very hands-on father."Michelle, 26, also seems to be putting the break-up behind her and hit the town with a group of girlfriends in New York earlier this month.The couple reportedly spent months apart after Matilda was born and close friends and family were not surprised when they called time on their relationship.A source said: "They have been separated, on and off, since Matilda was born, and tried to make it work for her sake. Matilda will remain their first priority."The past year or so has been filled with ups and downs and they spent a few months apart and barely spoke."Heath and Michelle met on the set of 'Brokeback Mountain' in 2004 - a month after the Australian actor ended his two-year relationship with Naomi Watts.
