 Jean Shafiroff

Fashionable philanthropist, Jean Shafiroff, displays her ever-stylish looks on the curated survey of individual style site ‘The Chic Index.’ Jean’s classic style, along with her whimsical flair, is a natural combination for Iké Udé’s photography.

Currently, four of Jean’s looks are featured on fashion website, ‘The Chic Index,’ launched by Iké Udé. For her first look, Jean paired a stunning emerald green Oscar de la Renta gown, one of her favorite designers, with a black and green sequin fan plus a black pearl and diamond necklace and earrings. Jean accessorized her second outfit, a black and green Oscar de la Renta cocktail dress, with a black Tiffany & Co. bow clutch, Christian Louboutin pumps, Jennifer Miller earrings and Giorgio Sermoneta leather gloves for added drama. Adding her own twist on the classic Little Black Dress, Jean accessorized her third outfit, a Michael Kors gown, with a luxurious Valentino bolero, Prada earrings and a Betsey Johnson bow necklace. For her fourth look, Jean showed off her whimsical side with a custom Fabiola Arias multi-colored gown, which Jean says reminds her of gumdrops, along with a Clara Kasavina minaudiere, a charm bracelet and vintage1980’s earrings from Bergdorf Goodman. Jean will be featured on ‘The Chic Index’ for the next 8 days, for a total of 12 looks.

Jean’s passion not only lies in fashion, though also in the many charitable organizations she supports. Jean is actively involved as a leader in several New York and Southampton philanthropic endeavors including the JBFCS, Couture Council, French Heritage, Lighthouse International, Southampton Bath and Tennis Club’s Charitable Foundation, Southampton Animal Shelter, American Cancer Society, Solar One, The New York Women’s Foundation, to name a few.
