Vail Bloom And Adrian R'ManteYou never know what to expect when you walk into the preview for a low-budget independent film like “Life at the Resort.” However, it‟s always a happy surprise when an indie film, has its own style. And this one surely does. Yes, there are familiar plots and old gags but it truly has its own brand of comedy. There are twists and turns and so many crazy (but believable) characters that the audience never knows what will happen next. Although the film is not yet rated, be aware it has a lot of adult humor and language.
The gossip mill, the strained relationships and new romances all work together in this humorously constructed ensemble piece from first time producers and co-directors (Villayne and Sable). Making this fun and entertaining script work is a terrific cast: Vail Bloom (The Young and the Restless), Adrian R‟Mante (Disney Channel‟s “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody”), Louis Mandylor (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Marc Singer (The Beastmaster) really showing us his versatility, as well as a list of cameo appearances by some of the most working actors and recognizable faces from the big and small screens. The cast is rounded out with great performances from some new faces as well.
