DR. TAMER SECKIN ATTENDS WORLD CONGRESS
Chief Medical Officer Tamer SeckinOn behalf of the Endometriosis Foundation of America (EFA), President and Chief Medical Officer Tamer Seckin, MD, attended The World Endometriosis Society’s (WES) 11th World Congress on Endometriosis 2011 in Montpellier, France.
Dr. Seckin offered his expertise as a world–renowned surgeon on endometriosis and will participate in the global meeting forum on the “WES 2011 Montpellier Consensus for the Management of Endometriosis” . The goal of the forum is to achieve a consensus of how endometriosis can be managed. All of those who are involved with the field of endometriosis will represent from their national and regional societies and contribute their expertise in the session.
The World Congress on Endometriosis is held every three years, and attracts more than 1000 delegates and accompanying partners, which include clinicians and scientists, and their trainees. The World Congress is an important conference for the presentation and discussion of new developments in the field of endometriosis. It also brings significant opportunity for experts alike to present new findings from both the clinical and scientific perspectives.
The forum focused on endometriosis from the clinical and scientific perspectives featuring presentation sessions over the course of six days. More than 500 oral and poster sessions, including keynote and debate sessions took place to further explore and understand endometriosis.
