Call him a Sheenius! The devoted followers of Charlie Sheen love his 'Sheenanaghans and Sheenisms'. Here's something you may not know: Barry Klarberg, Charlie's business manager said, "Charlie will be donating One dollar from each ticket sold from his 'My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option Show' to the Red Cross Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund". There continues to be a media frenzy surrounding the self proclaimed "Warlock." People are fascinated and can't get enough of him. They are under his 'spell'. One can't turn on a radio, TV or pick up any publication without his name being mentioned.

I attended a meet and greet at Radio City Music Hall after his NYC show and prefer to write about Charlie's loyalty to his fans after what I witnessed first-hand. He made people feel special. I observed the sincere interest Charlie took in each of the people at the meet and greet. He didn't rush them and signed countless autographs, show posters, T-shirts, baseballs, etc. Charlie photographed and chatted with his followers as if he were a regular guy they just met, often asking them about themselves. I feel that he should be commended for his patience and willingness to take a sincere interest in others lives.

James Edstrom's Note: The other night we went to the Charlie Sheen Winning Show and we had a blast. No matter what anyone says, this guy sold out world famous Radio City Music Hall. Now who can do that? I met outside some of my friends, including Artist Sean Paul Ayala, Ocean City Radio star Bulldog and a new friend, HBO's Cat House star Dennis Hof who also owns the world famed Moonlite Bunny Ranch. Famed Ocean City restaurant guru Buddy Trala who owns The Sunset Grille also made the trip to New York City for the show. In fact there were people from all over the world who made the trip to catch Charlie.

In a ultra-private meet and greet, with Darryl Strawberry, James Lipton with his wonderful wife Kedakai, everyone was in great spirits. They loved Charlie. The media can say what they want to say about Charlie Sheen's show, but the end result is the fans love him and they showed it with cheers. The only boos I heard was when Charlie was taking questions from the audience and the audience members asked such stupid questions, everyone booed. They were not aimed at Charlie, they were aimed at the audience members. The fans love Charlie and they showed it by cheering him all through the show.

I talked to Charlie for a while and I told him that night I felt like a loser that night, but he was a winner. He looked at me so seriously and said " Don't say that, you are a winner, Don't ever say that".
You could tell Charlie really cares about the people around him, his fans and his friends. After all my years of hanging and working with celebrities, to me this means winner. It is really rare these days to find a star like this. I think this may come from his father Martin Sheen. When I was young, I used to run into Martin Sheen jogging around Central Park and The Plaza Hotel. Every single time I asked for a photo, Martin would stop, even know I was invading his privacy, and pose for a pic. Then he would ask how I was doing and chat a while. The old saying, The apple does not fall far from the tree I think rings true here.

The media can be vicious to celebrities. I know, I have had covers on every major magazine and newspaper there is. I think one addition to the show should be Charlie reading some of the headlines about him that some of these so-called journalists write. Some of them are so funny and so out of this world. And while you are reading the headlines, you show photos of these tabloid whores. In my 30 years in this business, most of them are celebrity wanna-bees and a good percentage are so ugly, only a mother could love their face. I think it is about time for Charlie to strike back at these people. Charlie did his job on Two And A Half Men. He made Warner Brothers money and gave the public a good show. On his down time he has a right to have fun. None of us are angels and most of all not I. In my old party days, I did it all. I remember one night going to sleep right in the middle of the VIP room at the Limelight, only to be woken up by Grace Jones and River Phoenix looking over me. I got a thousand stories like this. None of us are angels, and perhaps before everyone judges Charlie Sheen, they should judge themselves.
