Ally HilfigerNew York City’s fashionable crowd was seen at the official opening party of the compelling fashion documentary DRESSED, at New York City’s hotspot Lair Restaurant & Lounge. A fashion documentary based on designer Nary Manivong’s journey, DRESSED, tells the inspirational tale of perseverance—from enduring many hardships throughout his life, including a broken childhood and homelessness, to the success of his collection presentation at New York Fashion Week. DJ Chris Wonder provided guests—such as director David Swajeski, producer Maryanne Grisz, design partner at NAHM and socialite Ally Hilfiger, The Dirty Pearls singer Tommy London, KILLCODE singer Tom Morrissey, 2005 Miss New York USA Meaghan Jarensky,2005 Miss New York Teen USA Natascha Bessez, stylist and TV personal Crystal Streets and Blip Blip Bleep producer Sean Han—with music throughout the night, as the DRESSED preview played behind the bar on Lair’s flat screen televisions.
Owners of EMRG Media LLC, Mario Stewart and Erica Maurer, outfitted the Lair staff with shirts, provided by Nary Manivong and the DRESSED team. EMRG Media LLC also sponsored and produced the event, treating guests to complimentary cocktails by Tequila Avión and Beerlao while nibbling gourmet appetizers, crafted by Lair’s Executive Chef Chris Cheung (formerly Nobu and Monkey Bar).
