Samuel Waxman With Chevy Chase

The 13th Annual Collaborating for a Cure, which benefits the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF), will once again be held at the elegant Park Avenue Armory on November 18th. Thanks to event chairs Elin and Michael Nierenberg, Dale and Peter Claman, Kristin Fizulich, Alyssa and Cliff Greenberg, the event promises to be special as always. Guests will gather at this New York City Landmark to show their support for cancer research and enjoy a special concert by Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, herself a cancer survivor. While primarily known for her musical talents, Sheryl is also committed to making the world a better place, recently contributing an original track to the Raise Hope for Congo compilation CD. A dinner along with a silent auction and live auction led by C. Hugh Hildesley of Sotheby’s will provide additional entertainment.

Those who are unable to attend the event can still show their support by bidding on auction items. Following on the success of last year, the SWCRF is again holding an online auction featuring incredible dining experiences, lavish lifestyle vacation packages, and VIP athletic and celebrity events. Bid now at www.charitybuzz.com!

The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation is an international organization dedicated to curing and preventing cancer. The Foundation is a pioneer in cancer research, focusing on uncovering the causes of cancer and reprogramming cancer cells.

We dedicate ourselves to delivering tailored, minimally toxic treatments to patients. Through our collaborative group of world-class scientists, the Institute Without Walls, investigators share information and tools to speed the pace of cancer research. We believe that collaboration is the most critical means to bring treatments from science more rapidly.
