BOOGIE ON THE BOARDWALK IN ATLANTIC CITY

Michael Jackson Impersonator

A friend of ours was walking down the Boardwalk from the Trump Taj Mahal Memorial Day weekend and she saw a crowd gathering in front of Resorts…loud 80s music, dancers, and a Michael Jackson impersonator. She said it looked like fun and a flashback to old-school Boardwalk entertainment in Atlantic City. What she saw was Resorts Casino Hotel’s free summer attraction “Boogie on the Boardwalk.” Characters from Resorts’ Boogie Nights nightclub interact with boardwalk crowds, hosting dance contests, hula hoop demos, and some crazy stuff like seeing who can be the first to move to guide an Oreo cookie from their forehead to their mouth without moving their hands. Everyone who participated got some sort of prize...but it wasn’t about what they won as it was about having a bit of fun on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City. Sure it’s great to hit a jackpot and see a major headliner, but sometimes it just as nice to have a good laugh and share a smile. And that’s what this new offering seems to be about. Anyone that reads Times Square Gossip, knows we love Atlantic City, and spend as much time as we can down there. Cant wait to try it out myself….It’s every Friday from 5pm-9pm, and starting July 4th weekend, every Saturday from 3pm-7pm.
