Ready for summer? We are, and are heading to our favorite spot Atlantic City. The Deck at Trump Marina is ready for you. The Deck is one of the hottest spots to party anywhere—and it's launching the summer fun on Memorial Day Weekend, Friday May 28, 2010. "This season's schedule is once again action packed with weekly events and a wide variety of great bands making The Deck the ultimate outdoor party," said Mark Sachais, General Manager, Trump Marina. "Our unique location, set outdoors on the bay, gives The Deck's partygoers the feeling that they've escaped from the everyday. "It's all about quality entertainment, great food and drink in a relaxing outdoor atmosphere unmatched in Atlantic City." The Benderz will roll out the unofficial start of Summer 2010 with a rock and roll party on The Deck on Friday, May 28. Then on Saturday, May 29, Seven Stone keeps the party going during the day, and Kirko with DJ MJ take the fun well into the night. Memorial Day Weekend at The Deck continues on Sunday, May 30 with The Exceptions and Don’t Call Me Francis and Bubba Mac's legendary blues sound tops off the festivities on Monday, May 31. The Deck's calendar is jam-packed with special events you won't find anywhere else. Things get going right away on May 28, the night of The Deck's official launch. And on May 29, one lucky guest will win a Deck Party for 20 of their closest friends. And that's only the first weekend. The Deck will rock all summer long with performances by your favorite party bands, including Animal House, Love Puppies, Big City, Nasty Habits, Grape Street Riot, Jeremiah Hunter, Sub*G, Dane Anthony, Hawkins Road, Brian & the Coconutz, Generation Next, John Eddie, Don't Call Me Francis, Eddie's Garage, Billy Walton Band, Crystal Roxx, Cover to Cover, Big Band Baby, Spoiled Rotten, Jobonanno & The Godsons of Soul and more. "One of the more exciting aspects to The Deck is the return of FakeFest™," said Bill Schmal, Director of Entertainment. "There's no better way to relax than by kicking back by the bay and listening to spot-on renditions of the most famous performers." FakeFest™ is a hugely popular event spanning three days in June and featuring the top rock 'n roll tribute bands. From Friday, June 25 – Sunday, June 27, The Deck will jam with the sounds you love, from classic rock to alternative to pop and other genres. Eight bands are expected to perform over the event-packed weekend. Head Games brings the sound of Foreigner to Trump Marina. Dookie captures the unmistakable punk sound of Green Day. Rockin' The Paradise conjures up the classic Styx experience. Who's Next is, you guessed it, a tribute to The Who. Kiss Army is ready to "Rock and Roll All Nite" with the hits of Kiss. Parrot Beach brings the Jimmy Buffett island sound to Trump Marina. The B Street Band rocks Bruce Springsteen almost as good as The Boss himself. And you'll feel as though Billy Joel is performing for you when 52nd Street takes the stage. Hosted by DJ Michael James, FakeFest™ kicks things off at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 25 and rocks until after 11 p.m. on Sunday, June 27. Stop by all weekend long to catch these super-talented tributes to some of the most celebrated rockers of all time—without the big-celebrity ticket price. In fact, at FakeFest™, you don't even need a ticket! Themed nights are scheduled throughout the summer and feature food and drink specials along with music perfectly paired for the occasion. Mondays are Loud and Local nights, and while local bands are the stars and everyone is welcome. Tuesdays are boot-stompin' fun Country Nights with Hawkins Road; Key West Wednesdays embrace a laid-back island feel with Parrot Beach playing all your Jimmy Buffet favorites, and Thursdays are all about “B Streets” the popular Springsteen band and its spot-on tribute to The Boss. Fridays kick things into high gear, and nonstop entertainment and specials continue all weekend long. Saturdays are the hottest party bands from around the region and Sundays, The Exceptions return for their sixth season of soakin' up the rays and rockin’ the crowd on Sunday afternoons. South Jersey's Rock Station, 100.7 WZXL rolls in for Bike Bash on June 16 with Bud Light specials. On June 19, it's the party of all parties as Trump Marina celebrates its 25th Anniversary. That day, Patrón premium tequila is dropping by for a celebration bash and 95.1 WAYV is hosting its Bluefish Tournament, where ladies can raise big money for an important cause. June 26 and 27 are chances to win tickets to the 2010 Rockstar Mayhem Festival, featuring some of the hardest rocking acts to ever hit the stage.
