CHRIS BROWN SHOCKED ABOUT RIHANNA

Troubled singer Chris Brown is attempting to distance himself from the comparisons to his allegedly abusive stepfather, after his conviction for assaulting sexy star Rihanna, and is insisting his outburst was an isolated incident. Brown has been ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend for five years as he serves probation after pleading guilty to attacking her on February 8th. Brown has previously spoken out about witnessing his own mother Joyce Hawkins being beaten up by a former lover, insists he is nothing like his stepfather. He tells the next issue of People magazine, "I feel like he enjoyed it. He was an abuser. It was continuous." Brown’s comments came just hours after excerpts from his first television interview since the February incident were released online. In an interview with Larry King, which will air tomorrow, Brown is admitting he was shocked by his own actions and "can’t believe (the assault) actually happened". He adds, "I made a mistake and it was just something that I have to live up and own ."
