LOSER PETE DOHERTY ARRESTED IN U.K.

Once again Pete Doherty has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and drug possession after a concert in the United Kingdom. Doherty played a solo show in Gloucester, south west England, on last night and was held by cops 30 minutes after the event. Officers swooped when they saw the car being driven "erratically" through the town. Doherty was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, possession of drugs, and failing to stop. A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police says, "At approximately 12:30 a.m. officers on patrol in Eastgate Street saw a car being driven erratically. It continued down Barton Street and was stopped in Derby Road."A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, possession of drugs and failure to stop for police. He remains in custody at this time."Later on Thursday, the star's home in Wiltshire, England, was raided by authorities. A spokesman for Wiltshire Police refused to give details on what officers were searching for, or if anything was found.The police representative adds: "We did ask Wiltshire Police to search an address in the Marlborough area in connection with a drugs arrest which took place in Gloucestershire." This is the second time in less than a week that the Babyshambles star has been arrested. Last week in Switzerland, he was also arrested and released after paying a fine.
