MARTHA STEWART SETTLES FINGER LAWSUIT
Television lifestyle star Martha Stewart has settled a lawsuit with a hand model over an accident with a faulty patio chair from her furniture line. Martha was sued by model Patrick Albanese, who alleged the top of his index finger was chopped off after he caught it in the frame of the chair. Doctors managed to reattach Albanese’s fingertip, but he filed suit anyway, alleging he has not fully recovered from the injury and has lost wages as a result. However, Albanese’s attorney Guy Cook tells the National Enquirer Stewart has now settled the dispute with a pay off "to his satisfaction", although details of the deal have not been released to the public.
