SNOOP DOGG TALKS ABOUT KAYNE WEST'S COMMENTS

Snoop Dogg Visits 'The View'

Snoop Dogg gives his take on Kanye West's recent controversial comments about slavery, saying "he's crying out for help":

"He truly misses his mother, he truly misses a black woman in his life. He truly misses the stability of having somebody telling him when he's wrong ... as opposed to allowing him to continue to do what he's doing."

"That's my homegirl!"

Snoop Dogg calls his unexpected friendship with Martha Stewart "special":

"People would've never thought that we could have a relationship ... but that's what's wrong with people. Stop judging a book by the cover and allow people to understand and learn from each other!"

Snoop Dogg says his new gospel album Bible Of Love is inspired by his grandmother:

"What I wanted to do was make a record that she could be proud of, that she could play. I know she's in heaven right now tellin' everybody 'Look at my grandson shining.'"

MARTHA STEWART STANDS UP FOR NEW JERSEY PIGS

Martha Stewart

NEW JERSEY -- Martha Stewart is the latest celebrity to stand up for New Jersey’s pigs. In a letter  delivered yesterday to the office of Governor Chris Christie, Stewart urges the governor to sign a bipartisan state animal welfare bill that will ban keeping mother pigs in crates so small they can’t even turn around.

Stewart’s letter comes on the heels of fellow New Jersey native Bill Maher’s op-ed in the New York Times, in which he accused the governor, who’s mulling a 2016 presidential campaign, of pandering to voters in Iowa, which holds the nation’s first presidential caucus.

“There must be more to it,” Maher wrote, referring to Christie’s veto of a similar bill last year. “Could it be that a possible presidential candidate is aware that Iowa is the No. 1 pig state in the country, and that Republican primary voters there are strongly anti-regulation?”

In her letter, Stewart writes, “All animals need to turn around; they were designed that way. But pigs, especially, are interesting individuals with unique personalities and complex behavior and cognition. It is no more acceptable to cram pigs into tiny crates than it would be to do the same thing to dogs.”

LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST MARTHA STEWART

Homemaker and television icon Martha Stewart is involved in a legal battle with a former employee, who is alleging she was unfairly fired from Martha's company. Kiki Paris, an ex-sales manager at Martha Stewart's Body and Soul magazine, is claiming she was canned following executives demands that she work while on disability leave after a very severe car crash. According to New York federal court papers filed on Tuesday, the 53-year-old suffered head injuries and multiple fractures to her spine and left elbow after the May 2008 accident. Paris claims her bosses asked her to tell potential clients about her injuries in an effort to gain sympathy, and sell more ad space, before she was eventually fired. She is demanding compensation and her job back. A Martha Stewart spokesperson tells the New York Daily News, "We don't comment on active litigation."

MARTHA STEWART SETTLES FINGER LAWSUIT

Martha Stewart

Television lifestyle star Martha Stewart has settled a lawsuit with a hand model over an accident with a faulty patio chair from her furniture line. Martha was sued by model Patrick Albanese, who alleged the top of his index finger was chopped off after he caught it in the frame of the chair. Doctors managed to reattach Albanese’s fingertip, but he filed suit anyway, alleging he has not fully recovered from the injury and has lost wages as a result. However, Albanese’s attorney Guy Cook tells the National Enquirer Stewart has now settled the dispute with a pay off "to his satisfaction", although details of the deal have not been released to the public.

MARTHA STEWARTS BELOVED PAW PAW DIES

Paw Paw

Television icon and homemaker Martha Stewart is in severe mourning following the death of her beloved dog last Saturday. The Chow Chow, named Paw Paw, died of renal failure. He was only 12 years old.Writing on her official blog, Stewart recalls the pooch's "agreeable temperament" and the very happy times the pair spent together. She writes, "Paw Paw was a spectacular chow and an even more spectacular dog. He was always my loyal companion. Paw Paw loved traveling with me and was always a willing model for the camera."In addition to taking part in television commercials and several national print ads, he has been part of numerous photo shoots and is a familiar face on my television show, in my magazine, and on this blog."Even in his final days, Paw Paw just stopped eating and drifted off to deep sleeps, where he now rests peacefully, and, I'm most confident, quite happily. I will miss him, always." We at Times Square Gossip are very sorry for Martha's lost. You can view her blog on Paw Paw Here...
