TOM CRUISE REMEMBERS HIS NASCAR DAYS

Hollywood star Tom Cruise will always remember his racing track days on the set of the film Days Of Thunder, because he was allowed to drive speeds of up to 200 miles per hour in Nascar cars. Of all his films, the actor is admitting he’ll always have a soft spot for the 1990 movie in which he played Cole Trickle, especially the scenes he filmed at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida. He says, "My personal Daytona was getting up close to 200 miles per hour (and) personally driving around the track one afternoon. "Having that opportunity to drive those cars on the track and meet those drivers… I loved it."
