His royal Highness Prince Charles has joined the new celebrity craze of ‘going green’ by powering his vast car collection on eco-friendly fuels.The Prince of Wales, who owns huge amounts of high-powered vehicles, has turned his 38-year-old Aston Martin into a hybrid, fuelling its engine with surplus English wine.The royal’s other vehicles, including Jaguars, an Audi and Range Rovers, are powered using bio-diesel made from cooking oil. In an effort to reduce his carbon footprint, the eco-conscious prince has managed to slash his carbon dioxide emissions by 18 per cent. Charles’ chief aide Sir Michael Peat says, "Charles only travelled two or three hundred miles a year in the Aston but he wanted it to be environmentally-friendly. Singing star Shakira is reportedly in talks to sign a multi-million dollar deal with the concert promoter Live Nation. Shakira could join an elite league of music icons including Madonna, Jay-Z and U2 if the deal goes ahead as planned. According to the New York Post, the pop singer, whose deal has been valued at over $70 million, has agreed to terms including recording, touring, merchandising and other music rights. It is believed a deal could be announced within weeks after 10 months of intense talks. Shakira is obligated to release another English-language studio album under the terms of her current contract with SonyBMG’s Epic Records. This will be released next spring.The label also plans to release a greatest hits album.

Former Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael, has undergone DNA testing with hopes of proving he is not the father of a secret lovechild. Lohan has admitted to having an affair with Kristi Kaufmann during a period in 1995 when he and his now ex-wife Dina had been separated. But the born-again Christian has denied Kaufmann's allegations. She has 13-year-old daughter Ashley, and he has instructed his lawyers to seek the truth of his former mistress' claims. Lohan tells Star magazine, "I took the DNA test this morning. ... It was important for me to know the truth, so I took the test."Lohan expects the results of the paternity tests to reveal his relationship to the teenage girl within two weeks. He insists he had no idea that his one-time lover had given birth to a child after their romance.Kaufmann hit him with the bombshell news while he was in prison, serving time for a DUI and other charges in 2005.

The actress is said to have broken up with the Italian businessman earlier this month, shortly before he was arrested on suspicion of fraud. According to the New York Daily News, Follieri, who has been charged with a dozen counts of federal wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering, is believed to have been outed to the Federal Bureau of Investigation by his former flame. A source tells the newspaper, "It makes sense. She's referred to as his former girlfriend in the indictment even though her spokesman never confirmed they broke up. I think that in return for her cooperation, the feds held off on arresting Follieri until she was out of the country."
