JENNIFER LOPEZ ON SELLING BABY PICTURES

Superstar Jennifer Lopez has stashed away most of the $6 million bucks that she was paid for the exclusive photo shoot with her twin babies Emme and Max, because she wants to "set them up" for life. Jennifer and her hubby Marc Anthony sold the rights to their first family shoot to People magazine in March, a month after the children were born. But Lopez admits she opposed the idea for some time before finally relenting to the floods of offers. She tells The Daily Beast website, "I think one of the reasons that the price went so high is that we didn’t want to do it for so long… We weren’t into it. I was like, ‘No, I don’t really want to. No. No way.’ "But then it got to the point that you go, ‘Well, now you’re being stupid with these offers’… I thought I can set them up. I can put this away just for them. We gave a little bit (away to charity) and I saved the rest for them." And Lopez, who came ninth in a recent Forbes poll of the richest females in show business, has defended her decision to accept the big-money deal, insisting, "I wouldn’t believe everything I read."
