In the new issue of Steppin Out magazine, multicolored eyed rocker, Marilyn Manson, sits down with Chaunce Hayden and gives his views on the upcoming won't believe it!Manson also shares with Hayden how his new 20 year old girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood influenced his life this past year........and how hurt he was over his ugly divorce up to Dita Von Teese and being sued by his friend and fellow bandmate.

Marilyn Manson on politics:

I don't think things can get any worse in the world. Aside from the fact that it's an election year which is always fun for me, because I'm the kind of person that makes people look good by saying I'm bad. As for who I'm going to vote for, I'm just sitting back and wondering who is going to get shot first. It seems like they're all asking for trouble just by being themselves. Although it would be really sad to see republicans win again. To be honest I don't feel like I can be a part of voting for the lesser of two evils. I can't go, "Well I don't hate this one as much as the other so I'll vote for this one." Actually I think we should have a king and queen instead of a president. Queen Evan? I think Evan [Rachel Wood] would really like that.

On Twiggy and Evan Rachel Wood:

Until I starting dating Evan it didn't cross my mind how much I missed my best friend Twiggy. She had a lot to do with our reunion. I became very thankful for the people who stood by me. Evan held my hand while I walked through hell this past year. She made me appreciate that Twiggy and I still love each other. The music was second. We just needed each other back in our lives.

On being sued by ex-keyboardist Stephen Gregory Bier Jr. and his ugly divorce from Dita Von Teese:

There were people in my life who prayed upon my weaknesses who are bitter about me getting my stink back and being in charge of my life. When people say things about me in the press it just sounds pathetic to me. You can have all that I have if that's going to make you happier. But you're going to lose the thing you can't put a price on and that's my friendship. If you want to sell me out and take everything that I worked for go ahead. I'm not worried about it. I never gave a shit what people think. And it became unfortunate when I started to worry about that. That was a real sign that I wasn't around the right people in my life. I'm not supposed to be the person who cares what people think. I'm the one whose supposed to make people think.
