PAUL MCCARTNEY'S HAMPTONS ROMANCE

Paul McCartney

Sir Paul McCartney spent last weekend with a married woman. The Beatles legend, who is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with Heather Mills, met millionairess Nancy Shevell (right) at an East Hampton restaurant on Friday where they drank cocktails until 3am. A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "With Nancy, Paul appeared happier and more relaxed than he has for a long time. They were chatting like old friends and seemed totally wrapped up in their conversation." They were at the bar chatting. At one point she moved in close and kissed him on the cheek."Paul - who was left shocked by Heather's series of TV attacks against him last week - put his divorce troubles behind him as he flew to the exclusive Hamptons resort on New York's Long Island to spend time with Nancy last weekend. Nancy, 47, is married to Bruce Blakeman, a partner in a top New York law firm and a commissioner of the New York Port Authority. Nancy and Bruce - who have a teenage son, Arlen - were friends with Paul, 65, and his late wife Linda. On Saturday, Paul was seen in the Top Lingerie store after visiting Nancy at her mansion. That evening, the pair went to the cinema and dined at the Mount Fuji sushi restaurant. Nancy went back to Paul's mansion where she spent two hours with him before returning home alone. On Sunday, Paul and Nancy enjoyed breakfast in an open-air café, before strolling along a beach near Paul's mansion. At one point, Paul lovingly put him arm around Nancy - who was reportedly seen without her wedding ring. The source added: "It was windy during their walk on the beach. They walked together but with hands in their pockets. Later Paul dropped Nancy off. As they were saying goodbye, he leaned over and gave her a kiss."Nancy drove to Paul's mansion later that day and the pair spent several hours together. Nancy is vice president of her wealthy family's transport business in New Jersey. She was known as Nancy Shevell Blakeman, but recently dropped her married name.
Editors Note: I have known Bruce Blakeman since we were kids. As nice as Paul McCartney is, if this story is true, Nancy is foolish as The Blakeman family is one of the nicest families around !
