JAMES MCAVOY WORRIED ABOUT MANHOOD

James McAvoy

James McAvoy was worried what his 'Atonement' co-star Keira Knightley would think of his manhood. The handsome actor was relieved director Joe Wright did everything possible to put him and Keira at ease for their erotic love scene as he was anxious the beautiful actress might be unimpressed with his appendage. James told BANG Showbiz: "In a love scene it's really, really advantageous not to have that horrible moment when you think, 'We don't really know what this scene is, we just know we kiss and we've got to have sex.'"I usually feel like, 'Oh for f**k sakes I don't want to do this, I don't want to feel like this, we've not even talked much and she's going to think I've a got a small.' "Despite his concerns, the 'Last King of Scotland' star - who is married to British actress Anne Marie Duff - ended up enjoying the potentially awkward scene thanks to Joe's direction. He said: "It's quite liberating to have a director stand behind the camera and say, 'Do this, do that.'"It sounds a bit sordid, but it wasn't. And in this scene we knew exactly what to do thanks to Joe's choreography."So it was really liberating to just give our trust to Joe. It was a bit like a car chase."
