We got the following reply from State Senator Liz Krueger on a letter we sent to her, urging her to support Medical Marijuana. Liz is one of the very few politicians that get it these days. She works so hard for New Yorkers and it shows. If every politician was like Liz Krueger, we would not have all these problems in the world. We applaud her.

Thank you very much for your letter regarding the legalization of marijuana for medical use. I agree with your position that medical marijuana should be legalized.
Numerous studies have shown that marijuana can be an effective treatment for many ailments. Most notable is the uses of marijuana to offset side effects associated with cancer treatment. Physicians, in concert with their patients, should be allowed the ability to alleviate suffering and improve the patient’s quality of life by prescribing appropriate medication.
I also would like to let you know that I support S. 2774, which legalizes the use of marijuana for medical purposes. Should it come for a vote in the Senate, I plan on voting for its passage.
