Also on display will be memorabilia from her prestigious musical family heritage. Largely self-taught as an artist, except for a period of time at the prestigious High School of Music and Art in New York City, where she majored in art, Miss Michaels is an accomplished painter who has shown in New York and Palm Beach’s finest galleries. Her work is in the collections of corporations and have been seen on such shows as “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”, “The Tonight Show”, “Fox News”, and “Regis.”
The exhibit will open with a Gala reception at the Museum, where participants will be able to “kibbitz and schmooze” with the artist as well as listen as her son, professional pianist Mark Wilk, plays background music on the Museum's beautiful new Brodmann Grand Piano. An admission of $36.00 per person will include admittance to the wine and cheese gala as well as a chance to win one of Marilyn’s works of art. Space is limited for this special event which promises to be a fun evening and a treat for the senses.
