Philanthropists Joan & George Hornig kicked off the "summer scene" this past Saturday with a special "hot" talent showcase event at their Hampton estate. Joan a noted jewelry designer who donates all the profits from the sales of her exquisite jewelery line to charities has spent the past year working with Tariq Alexander, CEO of The System Within (TSW) World Entertainment Network helping to launch a network for those interested in building careers - in front of the camera and behind the scenes - in the entertainment field. It's called TSW. What Joan has encountered in this cosmopolitan/ urban world has blown her mind. Not only is there so much pleasure in helping people realize their dreams, but there is creativity and talent oozing through this network. She wants to share this with you and have people who have never met come together in celebration of the arts and music as a healing force and universal language. Gifted TSW artists performed for Hampton "shakers & movers" throughout the afternoon and evening festivities in the lush comforts of the "Camp Hornig" venue. Some of the celebrity guests include ABC-TV local anchor Sade Baderinwa,Actor & Model Emanuel Sylvano, Hawthorne James, Actor & Film Director, Indy 5G Music Executive Todd N. Coles, Actor's Studio James Lipton with his lovely wife Kedakai. African Rapper PREMIER brought down the house with his group Infinite Entertainment. Premier was sporting a unique cap in yellow with his hometown area code 226 from Burkina-faso in West Africa. He helped design these caps available on the TSW Mall with whatever area code you want 212, 516, 213 you name it. The scarf around his neck is from his nation Ghana. The evening closed with a standing ovation for the dance troupe THE PROFESSIONALS.
