TIGER WOODS TO ANNOUNCE NEW COMEBACK

Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods is going to break his silence tomorrow and apologize for the sex scandal that tainted his clean-cut image and threatened his marriage in a press conference. The golf legend announced a hiatus from golf and went into hiding shortly after news of his many alleged flings and infidelities hit the headlines in November. Before h disappeared he told the press he wanted to repair his relationship with wife Elin Nordegren, and also declared he needed to "be a better husband, father and person". Now the disgraced Woods is preparing to make a comeback, and he is expected to reveal his inclusion in the upcoming PGA Tour at the press conference in Fla. According to his agent, Mark Steinberg, Woods will also use the opportunity to publicly apologize for his recent behavior. Steinberg tells TMZ.com, "This is all about the next step. He's looking forward to it."A statement posted on Woods' website on Wednesday reads, "While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that's what he's going to discuss."

Editors Note: Tiger made some very bad mistakes, and the former star has left a very bad taste in the mouths of his fans and the media. The Public Relations people who handled Tiger when everything hit the fan, should be fired, if they are the ones to tell Tiger to hide and ignore the press. Ignoring the media and the worldwide fans was a slap in the face to everyone that has supported Tiger over the years. The correct way to have handled the whole mess, was to hold a press conference and admit you did something wrong, and ask for some privacy in dealing with the matter. Tiger should have confronted all allegations right away, instead of ignoring everything, like he was the king of Sheba. He should have answered questions and posed for photos and it all would have disappeared as old news does. Now we hear at tomorrows press conference he is picking and choosing only a few media outlets and will not allow any questions. We also hear he is announcing his return to golfing. Tiger should not be allowed to get off this easy. He has made millions of dollars off his fans that go to his tournaments, millions of dollars off the media who over the years supported him and untold amounts of money from endorsements. Since Tiger ignored all of us, it is time we ignore Tiger. Plain and simple!
