Former Prison Break star Lane Garrison is speaking out about his recent jail hell. Lane is talking about how he was forced to live in squalid conditions in solitary confinement. The actor was jailed in 2007 after pleading guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving for a December 2006 car crash that claimed the life of a 17-year-old. Lane was released last year, and has spoken very little about his 22 months behind bars in 18 different prisons, but now he is revealing it was a hell of intense heat, bugs, rats and time alone. He told In Touch magazine, "In Chino prison in Northern California, I was in solitary confinement for three weeks in a 104-degree cell infested with rats and roaches. "The only time I had contact with the outside world was when I got my meals through a slot. I didn't do anything to warrant solitary, but that's just where they put me."

Editors Note: He also says " He will never forget what he did", yet the rest of the story is on his hell. I guess you have it worse than a dead 17 year old!

I work in a "Solitary unit". Rat infested cell, a lie. If how you live brings rats, that's on you. 104 degrees would be an outside temp not the inside. Do your crime in Alaska not California. Other staff have to work in those buildings too. Trust me they would be on top of fixing a broken AC if that were to happen. In a Lock-up unit the state will throw a ton of money in the form of Doctors and Shrinks at inmates. They get plenty of interaction with plenty of inmates and staff regardless of housing. Since his celebrity status would automatically place him off general population and on to a "SNY" Sensitive Needs Yard he has never walked the "main line" with all the active gang members. He would house with gang drop outs and child molesters. It was probably his lawyer that moved him so much, till he found a nice "mellow" prison. Special "knuckle-heads" like him usually get special treatment from the Warden. Not cause he has/had money. But because the state is trying to avoid lawsuits like the plague. He killed a 17 year old girl, whom he was drinking and partying with. In my eyes and the parents eyes, he's a child molester and murderer. But now he can go back to his fantasy world of playing the inmate character on the show Prison Break.
