VERNE TROYER RESTRAINING ORDER LIFTED

Verne Troyer

A court restraining order filed against "Austin Powers" actor Verne Troyer by his ex-girlfriend has been dropped, after a judge ruled the Hollywood star is not a threat. Yvette Monet, who briefly dated Verne after meeting him at a Playboy Mansion party a year ago, obtained a temporary order against Troyer last month. She was alleging he had bombarded her with abusive phone calls and left her fearing for her life. Troyer filed a legal response to Monet's allegations, insisting, "At no time did I ever threaten Ms. Monet or even hint to her that I would harm her in any way." Monet's hope to make the order permanent was rejected by a Los Angeles California judge, reports TMZ.com.
