Norah Lawlor With James Edstrom And Jeffrey Bradford

Jeffrey Bradford And Norah Lawlor

My friend and PR maven, Norah Lawlor, Principal of PR firm Lawlor Media Group, recently tied the knot with fiancĂ©, British defense expert Dr. Jeffrey Bradford—providing one of the more memorable evenings of late. The couple exchanged vows in front of a close group of family and friends at the Church of Our Saviour on Park Avenue with Father George Rutler—Norah walked down the aisle in a stunning gown by Marchesa. A lucky bride, she was one of the first to don a dress from the glimmering collection, as well as a Marchesa evening bag—both part of the Marchesa Bridal Collection spring 2010. Designer Georgina Chapman and her business partner Keren Craig are behind the glamorous designs, now pioneering the line into the bridal world. Norah added a touch of sparkle to her look, wearing Jeffrey Rackover teardrop earrings. The ceremony was followed by an elegant reception at the Union League Club with table decor by Tommy Anderson. The evening was true to the couples aesthetics—unpresumptuous and effortless while remaining classic and chic. Guests enjoyed a delectable dinner as well as sweet treats such as Payard truffles throughout the night, but the true icing on the cake was provided by highly-coveted, legendary cake guru Sylvia Weinstock, who designed an especially unique wedding cake for the couple’s special day. Highlights of the evening included the all-night dance floor—with music by hot NY DJ of 'Butter' fame DJ Phresh, the photographer Karen Wise—named one of the Top 10 Best Wedding Photographers by American Photo Magazine, and the loving toasts from family and friends. Iconic photographer Patrick McMullan shared a hysterical, impromptu speech with guests, toasting Norah and Jeffrey.
