VAN JONES QUITS AS WHITE HOUSE ADVISER
President Barack Obama's green jobs czar Van Jones has quite his job as a White House adviser. In March 2009, Van went to work as the special advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. His focus was on creating environmentally friendly, carbon-neutral jobs. Jones came under heavy fire for his comments on school violence, former President George W. Bush and left-wing economic policies. Jones compared Bush to a crack cocaine addict, questioning whether the Bush administration knew the 9/11 attacks were coming.
