TRIAL IN KIRSTEN DUNST ROOM ROBBERY

Another man accused of allegedly stealing from actress Kirsten Dunst's hotel room is insisting he thought he was running an errand when his friend stole the stars bag. James Jimenez is facing 15 years in jail for his alleged part in the burglary of NYC Dunst’s hotel room in 2007. He is accused of teaming with Jarrod Beinerman in a raid on the actresses suite at New York City's SoHo Grand, stealing a number of items belonging to the actress and her then co-star Simon Pegg. Beinerman was sentenced to four and a half years in jail last September after confessing to illegally entering the room and taking the star’s designer bag. But Jimenez is still insisting he believed Beinerman was collecting the bag for a friends sick mother, and he merely came along on the errand. He took to the stand at the State Supreme Court in Manhattan yesterday, telling Assistant District Attorney Tricia Stolfi, "I was just following him." Items stolen in the robbery include a $13,000 Marc Jacobs purse, $2,500 in cash, a cell phone, and a Balenciaga bag. The trial continues next week.
