MICHAEL JACKSON TREATED AS A HOMICIDE

Michael Jackson

Top television show and website TMZ is reporting today that the death of Michael Jackson is being treated as a homicide. Los Angeles California Police sources, according to TMZ, have revealed that they have been investigating the very suspicious circumstances surrounding Michael Jackson's death as a homicide and that they have also been focusing on one person, Dr. Conrad Murray. LAPD sources have told TMZ that the investigation is proceeding on the supposition that the powerful sedative Propofol, also known as Diprivan, as the cause of Michael Jackson's death. The circumstances under which Propofol may have been used might point to homicide. It was reported that Propofol was found in the Jackson home during a search warrant sweep of the mansion. A first search had reportedly turned up Demerol and other prescription medications. TMZ is quoting their source as saying that there exists "plenty of powerful evidence" that Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's last known personal doctor, allegedly administered Propofol to the singer. An IV stand (Propofol is administered by IV drip), oxygen tanks (oxygen must be used in the administration of Propofol), and vials of the Propofol anesthetic were reportedly found in Jackson's home, all of which allegedly link Conrad Murray to their usage. Conrad Murray's lawyer, who is insisting that Murray has been cooperating with the police, refused to acknowledge whether or not Murray administered Propofol to Jackson. This news comes on the heels that Dr. Conrad Murray has not been as cooperative as his attorney would like the public to think. TMZ reported that Conrad Murray turned over some of his medical records concerning Michael Jackson but not all, as was requested of him by the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. This does not mean the doctor is guilty of anything, and the police are still investigating...
