DREW BARRYMORE'S BAD SKIN CONDITION

Sexy Hollywood star Drew Barrymore was not happy after leaving the set of her new movie Grey Gardens, because it left her with an irritating skin condition. The actress developed an allergy to the heavy makeup she had to wear while filming the pic. Barrymore plays former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis cousin Little Edie Beale. The woman was a recluse who lived in poverty, filth and cat feces in a decayed 28-room mansion in The Hampton's,Long Island in New York. Drew is still haunted by her movie role. The makeup that turned her into Beale also left her skin peeling and very sore. She tells the New York Post, "Depending on the scenes we were shooting, I’d have to sit in that makeup chair four to six hours every single day. Just ageing the face and hands took four hours. Then, taking it off, was another hour and a half… "My face suffered as a result. We ended up with skin issues I’d never had before because I developed an allergy to chemicals in isopropyl, the alcohol used in removing cosmetics. A constancy of prosthetics also created a sensitivity to adhesives, and our makeup people had to find alternatives."
