KATE BECKINSALE IGNORES THE PAPARAZZI

Hollywood star Kate Beckinsale has the ideal way of dealing with wild paparazzi. The actress actress simply ignores them. Kate lives in Los Angeles California with her husband Len Wiseman, and her daughter Lily, from a previous relationship and is constantly photographed whenever she steps out of her mansion. But the talented star will never lose her temper with the celebrity snappers as many other celebrities have done before, and she believes it may have something to do with her being a typically reserved Brit. She tells Access Hollywood, "Maybe it’s a British thing. I sort of adopt a victim mentality in that I can’t do anything about it so it’s pointless throwing things and shouting. "I just think, they’re going to wait at the bottom of your road and follow you places. Hopefully you’re not doing anything so spectacularly interesting like having your pants fall down, because that kind of thing tends to attract attention. It’s a part of the job that I tend not to think about that much." And Beckinsale says that Lily has also adopted her mother’s mentality of ignoring the press. She adds, "It’s weird that my daughter’s got used to it. We tend to have a group of people following us when we do our Christmas shopping or something but we’ve all got quite good at blocking it out and pretending it’s not happening." Way to go Kate !
