Television talk show star Ellen DeGeneres has landed a new hot gig as the spokesmodel for cosmetics giant CoverGirl. The famed host was rumored to have signed a six-figure deal with the make-up firm just last week. DeGeneres, who follows in the footsteps of R&B beauty Rihanna and Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore, has confirmed her new job on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."And she couldn't help but joke about her big news before making the real announcement. In the show, DeGeneres kids around, "You know how I always like to share what's going on in my life with you all, and I was going to give you some news and, unfortunately, rumors started circulating all over the Internet."I am here to set the record straight right now. I am not pregnant. It just turned out to be a bump. I went and had it checked out." She continues, "I am the new face of CoverGirl," before striking a model-like pose."That's the first thing they teach you when you're a CoverGirl."And DeGeneres is very delighted with her appointment.
