ED MCMAHON FINDS BUYER FOR MANSION

Tonight Show icon Ed McMahon won't have to worry about foreclosure because he has found a buyer for his Beverly Hills, California mansion. The former Johnny Carson sidekick was reportedly lining up a deal to sell the $5.75million six-bedroom home to Apprentice television star Donald Trump. Now he has closed the sale, but revealed that real estate icon Trump will not be the new owner. The buyer of the house has not been revealed, but McMahon’s spokesman Howard Bragman says, "It’s a confidential deal, and the buyer wants anonymity, but I can tell you it is not Mr Trump - and it’s not (Republican presidential candidate) John McCain." McMahon had owned the home for 30 years but faced the threat of foreclosure after his mortgage lenders filed notice of default last February.
