JOHN TRAVOLTA MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING AT SHANNON AIRPORT

Hollywood star John Travolta was reportedly forced to ground his private plane at Shannon airport yesterday after it got into technical difficulties. According to The Irish Independent 'The 'Pulp Fiction' star was returning to the States after a visit to Germany but was forced to land at the airport after the plane he was flying experienced engine trouble. The actor, who is a plane fanatic, even naming his own son Jett, was not without his wings for long and after a few hours both he and his entourage continued their journey in another privately-owned jet. Engineers are assessing the problem with the plane, which will reportedly remain in Shannon until this evening at the earliest. In September 1999 the star's jet was involved in a mid-air drama forcing the actor to make an emergency landing a Logan International Airport in Boston.
