The Oscar nominated actress and ‘Ugly Betty’ producer has announced her engagement to millionaire French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault and confirmed she is expecting his baby. Her publicist said: "Businessman Francois-Henri Pinault and his fiancée Salma Hayek are happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child." Salma, 40, has been dating the wealthy Frenchman - who is the chief executive of PPR, the company that owns Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent and a string of other French retail chains - in secret. Meanwhile, Salma has revealed her pet dog saved her life on the day of this year’s Golden Globe Awards. The actress was at home sleeping when her beloved pooch, Diva, alerted her to a gas leak. Salma said: "I had a headache and went to lie down when Diva woke me up grabbing my sleeve in her mouth and trying to pull me out of the house. It was then I realised the gas was on!"
