SANJAYA MALAKAR NEXT AMERICAN IDOL ?

Seventeen-year-old Sanjaya Malakar of Federal Way is one of 12 finalists competing for a record contract on "American Idol." The show's tense final moments Thursday night focused on Malakar and Jason "Sundance" Head, who were competing for the No. 12 spot. The judges were surprised when viewers voted Head off the show, complementing him on his singing as they showed him the door. Simon Cowell has criticized Malakar for his "weird" stage presence and his singing hasn't attracted the same kind of praise some of his competitors have received. Among the 24 semifinalists was another Federal Way contestant, 22-year-old Amy Krebs. She was voted off the show on Feb. 22.

Malakar should bow out and should be greatful to have made it as far as he did. He can't sing with the class of people that is left. He should be ashamed of himself to let this go on. Bow out clown and save some face.

The game is over, the people that vote for him should be ashamed of themselves. They have taken an opportunity away from someone who deserves a chance. This guy can't sing and will never make a record or get a record deal unless some person feels sorry for him. He doesn't have what it takes and never will. DROP OUT like you should have three weeks ago. Do the right thing people think you are a joke in capital letters.

people that vote for sanjaya should not vote just to see how funny it is, but they should really mean who they vote for.
