Adam Goldstein Super DJ Adam Goldstein was killed by an accidental drug overdose according to the New York medical examiner. Goldstein was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on August 28th at the young age of 36. An autopsy and toxicology reports found a cocktail of drugs in Goldstein’s system, including cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, and Benadryl, according to documents obtained by TMZ.com . Adam Goldstein With Nicole Richie Hollywood stars Robert Downey Jr. along with Licking Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie were among the mourners who attended a memorial service for the late Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein on Thursday night. The award winning DJ, was found dead in his New York City apartment amid rumors of a possible drugs overdose. Close friends and family paid their last respects to the star at a private funeral in Los Angeles California on Wednesday. A second memorial service was held on Thursday in the city. Goldstein's former fiancee and friend Richie turned out to honor the fallen DJ, along with Lohan, Samantha Ronson and Downey Jr. The service at the Hollywood Palladium was also attended by "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau, socialite Nicky Hilton, Rebecca Gayheart and her husband Eric Dane. Adam Goldstein DJ AM AKA Adam Goldstein's autopsy revealed he swallowed a handful of strong painkillers shortly before he died, according to new gossip reports.The famed spinner was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday. He was 36. Goldstein's cause of death has not been released yet, but insiders tell People.com eight undigested OxyContin pills were found in his stomach, as well as a ninth in his mouth. A law enforcement source told the website, "He wanted to die. He was going unconscious when he took the last one. He didn't even swallow it."The report adds that crack cocaine and a pipe were found by Goldstein's body.
