TBS FULL FRONTAL'S SAMANTHA BEE IN PUERTO RICO

Samantha Bee In Puerto Rico

Samantha Bee heads to Puerto Rico in Full Frontal with Samantha Bee's special "The Great American Puerto Rico," airing on Wednesday, March 28 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on TBS. With guest appearances from Javier Muñoz and David Duchovny, the special investigates topics including the U.S. commonwealth's continuing efforts to restore power in the wake of Hurricane Maria, mainland American millionaires who are using Puerto Rico as a tax haven, the Puerto Rican diaspora, FEMA's lackluster response, and much more.

Full Frontal is committed to investing in the island's recovery. Beginning yesterday, "Frontal Entero con Samantha Abeja" t-shirts designed and produced by Puerto Rican businesses Suxess Clothing and Transom will be available to purchase on the TBS Store and all TBS proceeds will go to the Hispanic Federation. Additionally, through the rest of 2018, all Full Frontal charity t-shirts will be printed from Puerto Rico. A fundraiser for the Hispanic Federation is currently underway on the Full Frontal Facebook page. Through its UNIDOS Disaster Relief and Recovery Program, the Hispanic Federation is serving the immediate and long-term needs of communities in Puerto Rico who were devastated by Hurricane Maria.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee shines a spotlight on stories inside the beltway and beyond, from gun control to sexual harassment in the media, and from global warming to child marriage in the United States. Full Frontal also travels around the world to cover international stories, with previous segments from Haiti, Jordan, Germany, Russia, Scotland, Mexico and Iraq. The series is executive-produced by Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Tony Hernandez, Miles Kahn, Alison Camillo, and Pat King.
