ROLLING STONE MICK JAGGER'S PETER TOSH VIDEO
Kingston, Jamaica -- Following the Grand Opening of the Peter Tosh Museum in New Kingston, Jamaica last month- friend and Rock & Roll legend Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones recently sent a video congratulating the family and estate of the late reggae icon which can be viewed exclusively on PeterTosh.com! The Museum officially opened to the public November 1st, and it’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday: 10:30AM to 7PM and Saturday: 10AM to 6PM at Pulse Centre- 38a Trafalgar Road, New Kingston, Jamaica.
Tosh was also the only reggae artist signed to the Stones’ record label from 1978 until 1981, and collaborated with Jagger on 1978’s “Walk and Don’t Look Back”. He also opened for the Stones throughout their 1978 US tour, and is featured in the opening scene of the group’s video for “Waiting On A Friend.”
A self-taught guitar and keyboard player, he and The Wailers became pioneers of the burgeoning reggae scene in the late 1960’s, and together they toured the world for over ten years. He left the band in 1973 to pursue his solo career and earned huge success with “Legalize It” and later solo releases. The Museum project is promised to give fans a deeper look into the man behind the music. Tosh died at the age of 42 in 1987 during a tragic home invasion.

The Peter Tosh Museum showcases personal artifacts including tour jackets, Tosh’s passports, telephone and radio, audio and video recordings featuring the superstar, as well as his famed M16 guitar and beloved unicycle- giving fans a fascinating and introspective look into the life of one of Jamaica’s most celebrated figures. Exclusive merchandise is also available for sale to the public on site. The video from the Stones’ frontman will be on display as well, at a later date to be announced. The Museum is a joint-venture collaboration between the Peter Tosh Estate, Kingsley Cooper, Chairman of Pulse Investments Ltd, and Andrea Marlene Brown.
