Jean Shafiroff

Jean Shafiroff was among the many distinguished attendees at the Midsummer Party at the Parrish Art Museum this past Saturday in Southampton, NY. This event is regarded by many as the highlight of summer social season, attracting thousands of notable guests and Jean Shafiroff was one of the fashion highlights of the night. Shafiroff is an avid style and fashion trend setter, and has been profiled in many publications. Other notable attendees included: Alessandro Nivola, Nicole Miller, Sandra Lee, Anne Huntington and Dorothy Lichtenstein.

Shafiroff was dressed in a yellow Carolina Herrera dress constructed with embossed foam rubber. The light yellow ensemble was accessorized with red-orange plastic statement earrings, from Oscar de la Renta, that mimicked the draping of the dress, and an accompanying clutch, from Dior, of the same color. Her outfit also included a bright green plastic jacket by André Courréges. The beautiful dress cascaded down her frame impeccably, and made her a sight you could not forget.

The Midsummer Party at the Parish Art Museum honored philanthropist Barbara Slifka and brought together philanthropists, artists, business leaders and art world guests in support of the museum on Long Island’s East End. Jean Shafiroff in Carolina Herrera emulated the illuminating and creative qualities of the collection at the Parrish Art Museum.

Jean Shafiroff is the author of the book Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life by What You Give available now in selected bookstores.
