Jean Shafiroff and her husband Martin hosted cocktails in their home for the American Heart Association (AHA) who will honor Jean at their June 25, 2016 20th Anniversary Gala in the Hamptons. That night temperatures dropped well below freezing. However, the frigid weather did not stop over 100 friends and supporters from stopping by.

At the party, Jean briefly spoke about her father who suffered from a heart attack at the age of 51. She explained how good cardiac care had helped to kept him alive until the age of 94. Jean thanked the AHA for their research and the good work they do to educate the public on cardiac care.
