Actor Pierce Brosnan appeared on HuffPost Live today and shared a few funny anecdotes with host Ricky Camilleri -- first, Brosnan revealed the role he was deemed 'too handsome' to play; and also told about the time a fan used him to get close to "Halle Berry's ass." 

Brosnan: "This young lad looked at me, shook my hand, and he just looked at his hand and said, 'This is the closest I'll ever get to Halle Berry's ass...

I had no qualms about it. I just thought it was a very funny line."

On Being 'Too Handsome' for a Role:

Brosnan: "I remember reading 'Angela's Ashes,' and I really wanted to play the part in 'Angela's Ashes,' being an Irishman. I called [author] Frank McCourt up to throw my hat in the ring, and he said, 'Nope. Too handsome. Too handsome.' You're either too short, you're too tall. You're too this, you're too that.

Again, it goes back to the judgement factor. You have to be comfortable in your own skin, and wear it lightly and just get on with the job. Be good to people, be kind to people, show up, read the lines, hit the mark and go home."
