BILL O'REILLY RECORDING AUDIOBOOK KILLING PATTON

Killing Patton

Bill O’Reilly was be in the studio today recording his audiobook for Killing Patton, the fourth book in the #1 bestselling history series written by O’Reilly and his collaborator, Martin Dugard. The book follows the wildly successful Killing Jesus, Killing Lincoln, and Killing Kennedy, all of which were #1 bestsellers and narrated by O’Reilly.

The unabridged audiobook will be published on September 23, 2014, simultaneously with the print edition of the hardcover book Killing Lincoln, the top selling audiobook in the world in 2011, Killing Kennedy, the top selling audiobook in the world in 2012, and Killing Jesus, the top selling audiobook in the world in 2013. Not surprisingly, O’Reilly’s readings have been extremely well received. On his narration of Killing Jesus, Publishers Weekly commented that “O’Reilly is the perfect choice to narrate his own work. O’Reilly’s familiarity with the text is clear, and he reads it seamlessly in a powerful voice that captures listener attention.” On O’Reilly’s narration of Killing Lincoln, AudioFile magazine similarly wrote that “pacing is everything; O’Reilly is good at it.”

Mary Beth Roche, President and Publisher of Macmillan Audio, said that “we are thrilled to have Bill O’Reilly back in the studio recording Killing Patton. His powerful narration and this fascinating topic are sure to be another bestselling combination.”

O’Reilly is the recipient of many journalism awards, including three Emmys. His previous works of nonfiction all went to number one on national bestseller lists. There are more than five million copies of O’Reilly’s books in print. He holds master’s degrees from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and from Boston University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in history from Marist College.
